According to Elliot's Blog,the domain name Silver.com was acquired for $875,000 on December 27,2012.The buyer is JM Bullion,which intends to use the domain name to sell silver and gold .

According to DNJournal's YTD Sales Chart,this is the third largest sale of 2012 (the other two are Investing.com,sold for $2,45 million and PersonalLoans.com,sold for $1 million) .
