Blogs allow you to write about your passions and hobbies online, but when you sign up with most blogging platforms your blog is placed on a subdomain such as myblog.blogprovider.com. A custom domain will change this domain to myblog.com. This offers distinct advantages, as people will remember your blog URL better, the blog is open to more monetization methods and the blog ranks better in search engines.
Custom domains help your blog in the search engines.
