VeriSign, the trusted provider of Internet infrastructure services for the networked world, today announced the launch of VeriSign Managed DNS, a secure, cloud-based service that helps businesses ensure the availability of websites, email, and Web systems, while relieving the cost and burden of maintaining their own external Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure. The new service addresses a pressing market need. According to IDG Research*, nearly half of executives say they are "primarily troubled by uptime (and) unwilling to tolerate any disruption in service delivery."
