Google’s Matt Cutts was recently asked as it is now closer than ever to switching to IPv6, how will Google evaluate websites where one website being in IPv4 and an exactly the same one in IPv6. Will these be considered duplicate content?
Cutts responds saying that “no, it won’t be considered duplicate content.” And it would be the same when there is duplicate content on multiple ccTLD domains – this is also not considered duplicate content and very rarely considered an issue for rankings.
And therefore “having the same thing on IPv4 and IPv6 should be totally fine as well.”******************************************************************
