According to a press release,Radix Registry will be the operator of the .Host domain registry .The company announced that it will be accepting pre-registrations for .Host domains at HostingCon .

Radix Registry is the only company to have applied for .Host.The company plans to use the new gTLD for web hosts.cloud service providers,data centers ,ASPs ,ISVs and many other entities within the hosting industry.Even though Radix Registry is the only applicant for the new gTLD .Host,there are three applicants for the competing .Hosting gTLD.

According to Radix Registry,the pre-registration period begins on Tuesday ,June 18m2013 at HostingCon,which is being held in Austin,Texas right now.Attendess of HostingCon,the hosting industry's largest tradeshow,will be able to pre-register .Host domain names in person at one of the kiosks at the Radix booth.
