Google has withdrawn its application for the new gTLD .GOO.This is the first application Google has withdrawn,since ICANN started releasing Initial Evaluations.

.GOO had a prioritization number of 1,814.

Even though this is the first application Google has withdrawn since ICANN started releasing Initial Evaluations (IE),it's not the first application Google withdrew .Prior to Initial Evaluation,Google decided to withdraw three new gTLD applciations for .AND , .EST and .ARE .From 101 new gTLD ,Google is now down to 97 applications.

Google was not the only company to have applied for .GOO . NTT Resonant Inc. of Japan also applied for .GOO new gTLD.
