Microsoft,the company that acquired Skype in 2011,filed a UDRP (Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy) complaint at the National Arbitration Forum,asserting legal righte over Skype-Webcam.com domain .

According to whois records,the owner is Carol  Fanelli .The registration dates back from November 2010 .

Microsoft owns many trademark registrations for the "Skype" mark all over the world.Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.

Microsoft filed the complaint with the National Arbitration Forum on June 7,2013 .

The National Arbitration Forum will examine if the domain name is confusingly similar to the trademarked name.Moreover,it will examine if the owner of the disputed domain name has rights over it and if the domain is being used in bad faith.The domain name will be passed over to Microsoft if it falls under all three of these stipulations.

The case is still pending compliance checks with the National Arbitration Forum .
