New Product Wave Set to Create a Storm in the World of Domain Management

Domain names are the street addresses of the internet. And as with the real estate market, the most desirable addresses have the greatest value. At last count, there are over 40 million registered but un-used “parked” domains. For the domain names that are currently lying dormant throughout the web, Product Wave, launched this week, could be the cheapest and most effective solution to monetising an otherwise costly asset.
The Product Wave platform offers a unique way to add content and product information to multiple domains from one point of access. Product Wave allows anyone to set up an e-commerce website with hundreds of products in a few minutes with little or no effort. All a customer needs to do is to add their domain name to a new account and they can access to millions of products via merchant feeds from sites including Google and Amazon.The goal of Product Wave is to reduce barriers to entry for people wanting to enter the affiliate and website promotion marketplace. The platform is free to use for anyone with a domain name. Domainers with a large portfolio of URLs can pay a small monthly fee for a Pro package which provides analytics, sitemap generation and reporting from a central control panel.
Product Wave also offers a fully managed service including content generation, template and logo creation, link development, and domain management services. Revenue is shared between the company and the domain owner.
Co-founder Paul Roach says: “Product Wave is for anyone who either has or wants to build a portfolio of domains and a steady income stream with little effort. We have designed the product to allow anyone to use it, regardless of their technical skills.”Product Wave is the latest offering from technology development company Humbucker Ltd who have been operating from London since April 2010.
