Apple fights for Aplle.com domain name

      The well known multinational corporation Apple filed a complaint with the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center,claiming rights over Aplle.com domain name.

     Aplle.com is owned by Oakwood Services Inc,according to whois records.Also,according to whois records the domain name was created three years ago,in 2007.

      Apple owns many trademark registration for the "Apple" mark all over the world.Therefore,it is more than obvious that the disputed domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark.

      Aplle.com resolves to website that features sponsored listings.

      The case is still pending compliance checks at WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center.
