Nintendo has lost an arbitration case over the domain name WiiU.com .In a decision released these days,the World Intellectual Property Organization ,dismissed Nintendo's complaint which claimed that it was entitled to the domain WiiU.com.

Nintendo claimed that the domain name is confusingly similar to its trademark for "Wii".

The Panel decided WiiU.com domain to stay with its current owner.Now,if Nintendo wants WiiU.com domain name,it will have to pay big money to its current owner to acquire it .

Nintendo filed a complaint with the World Intellectual Property Organization in February.Several days before the company decided to file a complaint against the owner of WiiU.com domain name,WiiU.com was up for auction at SnapNames .Once the case was filed with the World Intellectual Property Organization,the list was removed.

WiiU.com domain name is parked at SmartName and displays sponsored ads .
